Design Advantages

High-quality full-travel keyboard system sealed to IP65. All electronic components, all contacts and mechanical guides are protected against ingress of dust and splashwater.
Convenient and positive operation due to the 3.25 mm travel keys with tactile feel.
All keys totally and freely programmable. Connection to the PC keyboard interface. All keys can be programmed with data strings up to 16 digits (optionally: up to 32 digits). Programming is easily done by the TEACH program, which we deliver additionally to each keyboard.
(System configuration: AT compatible PC with DOS, colour monitor and mouse.)
Ergonomically designed compact shape
Also available for applications with a serial RS 232 interface (version S serial). In this version, ASCII codes can be input as a clear text, as a decimal code or a hexadecimal code.
All kinds of DS keycaps can be used. As a standard, we use our newly developed key shape "W" (for alternating inscriptions). Keys with double length (2 x 1) as well as square keys (2 x 2) can be arranged within the matrix in any order whatever. In the 2 x 2 key, a cleverly thought-out parallel motion mechanism ensures reliable key operation.
The enclosure has been made in a matching design to our DS 102 W standard keyboard. Thus it can be ideally added to the DS 102 W as an additional keyboard.
Also available without enclosure to be panel-mounted (version EBV).
